By striving to improve your score on the day to day you will find an immediate improvement in how you feel and how you look.

Target where you need work the most. By being consistent in making the right changes you will find that your results will be consistent as well.

Daily Fitness Scoring System

1. Sleep
Less then 5 hours = -3 points
5 hours = -2 points
6 hours = -1 point
7 hours = 1 point
7.5 hours = 2 points
8 hours or more= 3 points

2. Drinking water upon awaking
No water = -1 point
1 cup = 1 point
2 cups = 2 points

3. Begin First Meal
By 7 am = 3 points
8 am = 2 points
9 am = 1 point
10 am = no points
later then 10 am = - 1 points
later then 11 am = - 2 points
later then 12 pm = - 3 points

4. Exercise
30 min of cardio = 3 points
15 min of cardio = 2 points
less than 15 min = 1 points
no exercise = no points

5. Amount of meals a day (each meal is supposed to be three hours apart)
1 meal = - 3 points
2 meals = - 2 points
3 meals = 1 point
4 meals = 2 points
5 meals = 3 points

6. Hydration throughout the day
Less than 5 cups of water = -1 point
6-7 cups of water = 1 point
8 cups of water = 2 points
9 or more cups of water a day = 3 points

7. Stretching (stretching must be 5- 10 minutes at least)
No stretching throughout the day = no points
Stretching once a day = 1 point
Twice a day = 2 points

8. Stretching before bed
5 minutes = 1 point
10 minutes = 2 points
15 min = 3 points

9. Strength training/ resistance exercise
15 minutes = 1 point
30 minutes = 2 points
more than 30 minutes = 3 points

10. Fruit Intake
No fruit - no points
1 fruit a day = 1 point
2 fruits a day = 2 points

11. Nut Intake
No nuts = no points
1 handful = 1 point
2 handfuls = 2 points

12. Veggie Intake
No Veggies = no points
1 serving = 1 point
2 servings = 2 points
3 servings or more = 3 points

13. Handful of seeds - 2 points

14 Bedtime
Before 10:30 = 2 points
After 10:30 = 1 point
After 12 = -1 point
After 1 = - 2 points

15. Take off 1 point if you smoke
Take off 1 point if you have more than one cup of coffee a day
Take off 1 point if you have more than one drink of alcohol a day

16. Take off 1 point if you have consumed at least 150 calories after 8pm
Take off 2 points if you consumed at least 150 calories after 9pm
Take off 3 points if you consumed at least 150 calories after 10 pm

RATE YOUR SCORE

Eagle = 32 to 36 points
Tiger = 26 to 31 points
Stallion= 18 to 26 points

Shark = 9 to 17 points
Monkey = 1 to 8 points
Turtle = 0 to -7 points
Young Grasshopper = -8 to -19 points

What does each animal represent and why is it important?

Young Grasshopper

You have a long way to go there are clearly more things you can and should be doing. The good news is that you have done the hardest part which is beginning the process. With only a few changes you can change your score dramatically and climb up the jungle ladder.

Turtle

You are moving forward albeit slowly. It is important to acknowledge your progress along with the notion that you could and should be moving faster. See where you are losing the most points and make the necessary changes.

Monkey

Your score is officially in the plus column congratulations! As a Monkey you are swinging nicely from tree to tree. Now the next step is to swing higher in order to reach that higher reward. Try to keep up the positive momentum by finding more ways to increase your score by adding positive points. This way before you know it you will be able to swim with the Sharks.

Shark

There is clear evidence that your are being aggressive in improving your metabolism. You have come a long way. You are a hungry Shark now and you need to be fed. Keep feeding yourself by minimizing whats costing you and maximizing what is easily devoured.

Stallion

You are riding strong now. Not only are you doing great but you are being consistent in boosting your metabolism throughout the day. You will find greater energy and real weight loss as you gallop your way to the top.

Tiger

You are fierce and determined. There is not much further for you to go. You are at the top of the pecking order and admired by all the other animals. Being the big cat has given you a big appetite. You are very hungry and the prize is near. There is just one more level to go and that is Eagle.

Eagle

You are the best. You soar above all other animals. Nobody can touch you. There is nothing that you can't achieve. You have proved yourself. There is just one question left; Do you have what it takes to stay on top?
